Academic & Other publications
Most days I write because writing is how I make sense of things. I have written in many genres, including children's magazine stories, newspaper articles, theater review columns, travel books, ad copy, dramatic sketches, poetry, blogs, and more. These days, I write mostly academic papers...and the occasional dramatic/comedic sketch, blog post, and/or poem. As the image to the left indicates, writing is messy because ideas are elusive. Following the thought trail wherever it leads means trying again and again to find the right words and to put them in the right order to capture and express the ideas flitting around in my brain.
